🎄 Feliz Navidad! Wishing you a season filled with wonderful memories. Thank you for visiting.
“And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, He blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled"
~Matthew 14:19-20
In today's world, where the pace of life often overlooks the needs of the vulnerable, Hamisha Loaves Charity stands as a beacon of hope and compassion.
The name blends Hebrew and English, and draws inspiration from the Biblical story of Jesus feeding thousands with just five loaves and two fishes. "Hamisha," meaning five in Hebrew, symbolizes not only the loaves used in this miracle but also the five core values of the charity: Compassion, Service, Integrity, Inclusivity, and Hope.
Hamisha Loaves was originally intended to be a faith-based for-profit company that creates foods inspired by the Holy Bible. However, our journey led us to a deeper calling, transforming our venture into the non-profit organization now known as Hamisha Loaves Charity.
Our mission is dedicated to feeding people with disabilities, providing nourishment and hope through our community-centered initiatives.

A Legacy of Love & Service
In a world that often feels divided and indifferent, Hamisha Loaves Charity stands as a powerful example of what can be achieved when compassion leads the way. By bringing together people from all walks of life to serve those in need, the charity not only feeds the hungry but also weaves a tapestry of community and care that extends far beyond its monthly food distributions.
Love Has A Name and that name is Jesus!
Kim Walker-Smith, explained that "Love Has a Name" was written to express the presence and constancy of God in every season of life. She, along with Ran and Ricky Jackson, aimed to craft a song that would convey how God meets us in every circumstance, whether in triumph or in trial. Walker-Smith highlights the personal nature of God's love, describing Him as the promise in times of doubt, peace in moments of overwhelm, and comfort in periods of sadness. The song is meant to remind listeners of the depth of God's love and His role as everything one needs.
Vision
To be a global beacon of Christ’s love and compassion, where every soul is nourished by both physical sustenance and the transformative power of God’s Word, reminding the world that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Through acts of service and the sharing of the Gospel, we seek to reflect the hope and abundance exemplified by Jesus, bringing healing and restoration to the vulnerable and marginalized.
Mission
Inspired by Jesus’ miracle of feeding the thousands, Hamisha Loaves Charity is committed to nourishing both body and soul. We serve the poor, disabled, and less fortunate by providing food and essential care, while spreading the message of God’s love through motivational sermons and uplifting gospel songs.
Guided by our core values—Compassion, Service, Integrity, Inclusivity, and Hope—we aim to follow Christ’s example of selfless giving, ensuring that every individual we touch experiences not just physical nourishment, but the life-changing power of God’s Word.
~Proverbs 22:9
"The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor"
